Gucci set to move men's Spring 2016 Milan show

A break with tradition

Editor: Buro 24/7

Gucci is set to move its menswear Spring 2016 presentation to a new venue in Milan for the first time in ten years, as part of a new shake up at the Italian fashion house. Get the scoop here...

There have been some changes at Gucci in recent times, initiated by president and chief executive officer, Marco Bizzarri, the newest of which comes in the form of a break from tradition in its choice of menswear venue in Milan this season.

It has been said the Gucci's new shining light, creative director Alessandro Michele, will present the Spring 2016 menswear collection at the former Farini railway station in Milan and not the theatre in piazza Oberdan, where it has held the past ten years of shows.

The official calendar with venues and times is pending from the official Italian Chamber of Fashion, though it is widely understood that the changes have been agreed and decided upon. Stay tuned to Buro 24/7 Middle East for more on this Gucci men's show, set to take place on July 22.
