PFW exclusive: Inside the launch of Valentino's new pop-up boutique

In the midst of Paris Fashion Week, Valentino collaborated with the Parisian-based Hotel Costes to launch a new must-see pop-up boutique. To celebrate the duo's first partnership, the Italian maison created a new limited edition of the Valentino Garavani Rockstud Spike bag — which was also seen in a photographic project, aptly titled Humans of New York — which comes complete in a rich burgundy red velvet, adorned with platinum hardware details.
Speaking about the launch of the handbag and the pop-up boutique, Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli said: ‘The Hotel Costes has been my home away from home for over 15 years — every time I walk inside, the scent, the music, the lighting, the doormen and the ever-present Mr. Costes, always make me feel right at home. This Hotel is one of the most iconic places and dedicating an exclusive Rocktsud Spike Bag for this occasion was a perfect fit for this special 'amitié'!"
To celebrate the opening of the Valentino pop-up store, the maison gathered A-listers including Olivia Palermo, Pierpaolo Piccioli, Veronika Heilbrunner, Lala Rudge, Evangeli Smyrniotaki, Eleonora Carisi and Charlotte Groeneveld, all dressed in the brand's Resort '18 collection.
