Donald Drawbertson's take on Chanel Métiers d'Art Paris-Salzburg

Sartorial satire

Fast becoming a must-know name outside of his social media following, Donald 'Drawbertson' Robertson never fails to amuse us... And he's outdone himself with this tongue-in-cheek nod to Chanel's recent Métiers d'Art Paris–Salzburg spectacle

A lot can happen during a single week across the fashion sphere... Was it really just seven or-so days back that we we raised a toast to the industry's finest in London at the British Fashion Awards 2014, simultaneously crushing over Victoria's Secret Angels... Or Pharell and Cara (as sketched above) stopping traffic in Salzburg with Chanel? That's all it was, folks.

It's easy to see why then, that little comedy-genius moments posted on social media sites can take time to impact, and so we take this opportunity to remind you of Instagram illustrating phenomenon, Estée Lauder creative and Smashbox x Art Basel, Brian Atwood and Kara Ross collaborator (not to mention cross country driver) Mr. Donald Drawbertson's quick-witted comeback to a social media feed full of standard, dare we say passé, invitation posts.

The modern-day Warhol also depicted Cara and Pharrell in their Paris-Salzburg 2014/15 characters Empress Elisabeth of Austria and Emporer Franz Joseph I, using stills from the beautiful new Chanel film, Reincarnation (pictured above). You can enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at Cara, Pharrell and Karl in action here.
