Inside the Off-White x Jimmy Choo soiree at NYFW
See who attended the invite-only gathering...
We've already seen a sneak peek of the highly anticipated Off-White x Jimmy Choo footwear collaboration and it's firmly on top of our wish lists this season.
Blending Virgil Abloh's magic touch (it seems that everything he touches turns into must-have products) and Sandra Choi's luxury aesthetic, the duo has created a fresh new take on statement footwear styles.
To celebrate the partnership between the renowned brands, Sandra Choi and Virgil Abloh hosted an intimate soirée at the Taglialatella Galleries in Chelsea during New York Fashion Week.
Whilst the fash pack were already in town to witness the unveiling of some of the most coveted Fall/Winter '18 collections (think Oscar de la Renta, Prabal Gurung, Alexander Wang and Noon by Noor), they stopped by the gathering to show the duo their support.
Dressed in ensembles from Off-White's Spring/Summer '18 collection, models Kendall Jenner, Naomi Campbell, Bella Hadid, Kaia Gerber, Martha Hunt, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Hailey Baldwin and Anja Rubik were all in attendance.
Enjoying culinary delights from Olivier Cheng and a music set by Saudi-born Palestinian twins Sama and Haya Khadra (aka Simi & Haze), the guest list also included Charlotte Groeneveld, Leigh Lezark, Caroline Daur, Irene Kim and Halima Aden (who broke all barriers by being the first hijabi model to walk the runway during Fashion Week).
Speaking of the collaboration, Jimmy Choo's Sandra Choi said: "To collaborate with a brand like Off-White allows Jimmy Choo to explore a new avenue and take part in a different conversation. I love to mix it up by getting together with a different creative mind identifying our synergies and combining our DNA to create a beautiful and surprising collection with unexpected links to the roots of our brand."
