Forget Shark Week, it's all about Moda Operandi's Shoe Week
Fresh off the back of launching a homewares collection by Emilia Wickstead, Moda Operandi has announced the launch of its debut Shoe Week. As you may have guessed from its name, Shoe Week is a one-week period dedicated to all things fashionable footwear.
From sneakers to mules, kitten heels and stilettos (and just about everything in between) the luxury e-commerce platform will host seven trunkshows across the week, allowing customers to be some of the first to secure pieces from the likes of Jimmy Choo and Francesco Russo's Resort 2019 collections.
In addition to well-known footwear stars, the site will also introduce a 'Ones To Watch' trunkshow which features a curated selection of pieces from up-and-coming shoe designers that you should snag to stay ahead of the Insta curve.
Speaking of the footwear focus, Jodi Kaplan, the Vice President of Non-Apparel at Moda, explained, "Building on the success we have seen in this category, we are excited to launch the Moda Operandi Shoe Week to highlight the range of footwear designers, both existing and emerging, that we are championing. In true Moda Operandi style we are doing this through a series of trunk shows, presenting collections from leading brands such as Jimmy Choo, before they are available anywhere else, as well as exclusive capsules and curated edits. August is the perfect time to offer our clients access and discovery in the footwear arena ahead of the Autumn season."

Shoe Week will run from August 6-12.
