Lots of sequins and gold embellishments unfolded as Soltana presented their Fall/Winter '16 collection. View the Roman-inspired pieces with Buro 24/7 Middle East...

The opulence of Roman antiquity and golden crowns worn by notables was the inspiration behind Fatma Ben Soltane's Fall/Winter '16 collection suitably titled, Lux Flora, which means Light Flower in Latin.

The 30-piece collection combined velvet fabrics, delicate lace, and precious silks that have been weaved into modernised silhouettes. Structured jumpsuits, flared dresses and distressed denim stitched with a kaleidoscope of colourful sequences were on show, paired with gold embellishments accentuating the shoulders, sleeves and waistlines. Tassels, rope and sequinned  heels were key design elements that complemented each look.

Complete with a simple pink lip and slicked-back hair, the looks delivered a strong statement with a focus on the beautiful collection.
