Karl Lagerfeld's punching bag set for Louis Vuitton

A hidden message?

As part of the Iconoclasts collection released for sale today, and in celebration of its 160th anniversary, Louis Vuitton teamed up with the legend that is Karl Lagerfeld and gave him creative license

For well over a century, Louis Vuitton has been embellishing everything from travelling trunks to cigar cases with its iconic monogrammed logo.

And now, as part of its Iconoclasts concept which previewed in Dubai this week in celebration of its 16oth anniversary, the historic French house enlisted heavyweight design help from Karl Lagerfeld. It's part of an initiative where artistic luminaries Cindy Sherman, Frank Gehry, Marc Newson joined other fashion designers Rei Kawakubo and Christian Louboutin devised their own take on the monogram design, and Lagerfeld obliged by creating a punching bag out of the classic canvas.

This limited edition of just 25, and comes with boxing gloves, a monogrammed mat and its own embossed luggage (for those who want to take their workout on the road, presumably), and retails for around $175,000.
