A photo that beautifully depicts the time when Gabrielle 'Coco' Chanel was igniting the flame of her fashion business, on the brink of becoming a fully fledged designer. It brings to mind a more recent time, when this year's Cruise collection was shown in Singapore during May. A chic interpretation – also inspired directly by this frame of time, was released starring Keira Knightley playing her part as the prolific designer in 1913, when Chanel opened her now-famous boutique in Deauville, financed by Arthur "Boy" Capel, where she introduced revolutionary ideas for womenswear...
