Gucci's Pre-Fall '18 collection is a modest marvel
You're going to want every piece
Since Alessandro Michele's appointment as Creative Director in 2015, Gucci has become one of the most powerful (and exciting) brands in the world. With a slew of standout runways under its belt, plus a dedicated crew of street style stars and women across the globe wearing the designs on a daily basis, the Gucci aesthetic is everywhere you look.
And now, Michele's signature fantastical and maximalist aesthetic is evident once again in his new Pre-Fall '18 collection for the Italian brand.
As with previous collections, at the core of Michele's designs are pieces that pack a polished-yet-powerful punch and this latest trans-seasonal range is no exception. Blending neoclassicism with quintessential brand codes, the eclectic co-ed collection features everything from oversized outerwear to bold dresses, tailored tunics, pleated separates and cool-girl bomber jackets in strikingly modest silhouettes — all of which is, of course, adorned with the brand's now-iconic (and #OOTD-friendly) floral pattern, double G logo prints and vichy graphics. Plus, those accessories we now can't live without get a cool reworking for the season ahead too.
The collection also features a selection of customised New York Yankees caps — the collaborative collection is set to be unveiled in full in February 2018.
