First look: Irina Shayk fronts Givenchy's SS17 campaign
Love, freedom and serenity
French luxury fashion house Givenchy is known for tapping renowned models for their runway shows and campaign ads, think Givenchy's Spring/Summer '17 runway show at Paris Fashion Week. Today, the Maison unveiled their latest seasonal ad campaign with Russian model Irina Shayk, Vittoria Veretti, Faretta Radic and Victor Perr fronting the campaign in a serene desert setting juxtaposed against studio portraits.
Under the artistic direction of the brand's Creative Director Riccardo Tisci, the freedom-inspired campaign highlights Carine Roitfeld's styling. Here Roitfeld's use of utilitarian hues, veteran-like silhouettes and must-have accessories come to the fore, suggesting a directional change from the brand's androgynous Givenchy Gang concept seen in last year's Spring/Summer '16 campaign.
