Mira Duma focuses on directional new designers with star-studded fashion initiative

When it comes to fresh talent, Buro 24/7's Miroslava Duma is the epitome of eyeing new names. So much so that she created the Buro Fashion Forward initiative, a project designed to support young design talent. As part of the initiative Mira hosted a reception at the Bristol Hotel Paris together with model Natalia Vodianova yesterday, to honour the newest members of the project, who hail from Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.

Industry heavyweights turned out to support the fashion's freshest faces: Ruban's sisters Alice and Julia Ruban, Eugenia Kim and Dasha Selyanova of ZDDZ along with Vita Kin with her traditional embroideries, Lily Litkovskaya, Lilia Pustovit who's brand Poustovit is already internationally recognised, Aika Alemi, Tolegen Batentayev and Assel Nusipkozhanova, whose eponymous brand is a standout.

Not only are these the names to watch, but each designer created a special object that will be sold in an online auction with all proceeds going to Natalia's Naked Heart Foundation.
