An evening with Montblanc in Abu Dhabi
A night of 'passion, creativity & heritage' to remember
In celebration of the opening of its latest Middle East boutique at The Galleria, Al Maryah Island, Montblanc hosted an 'Extraordinary Evening of Passion, Creativity & Heritage' for 150 high profile guests and friends of the luxury brand in Abu Dhabi this week.
After being welcomed by Montblanc's Global CEO, Jerome Lambert, invitees enjoyed an evening of exquisite artistry and elegant entertainment combining the heritage and flair of both the luxury maison and the culture of the UAE's capital. "While there is no doubt of the city's vision, the respect for heritage that Abu Dhabi embraces is one that resonates strongly with Montblanc and we look forward to a long and successful presence in the Emirate." Lambert enthused.

The event paid homage to one particular passion of the region, falconry. The world's first Montblanc falcon glove was presented during the evening – crafted in the finest calf and alligator skin by Italian artisans, before going on display in The Galleria boutique.
A number of limited edition timepieces and writing instruments also premiered in the Middle East for the first time as part of an exhibition that included the Montblanc Villeret ExoTourbillon Rattrapante timepiece, of which there are only 18 in the world.
Also on display were the Timewriter I: Metamorphosis and Timewriter II: Chronographe Bi-Fréquence 1,000 from the Montblanc Collection Villeret 1858, among other exclusive timepieces brought to Abu Dhabi especially for the evening.
The UAE has an active community of Montblanc writing instrument collectors, who were thrilled to hear that the exhibit also showcases a number of special, limited editions, as well as two unique pieces; the exquisite Ruby fountain pen, crafted in red gold and set with 352 diamonds and 315 rubies (the only one of its kind in the world), plus the Atelier Privé Limited Edition Bohème Roses Précieuses – a unique writing instrument inspired by Montblanc's dedication to culture and poetry, with the rose as a central theme, dazzling with an intricate design of yellow gold and more than 1,100 diamonds.
