A higher education institute in New York has whittled down four names for its honorary degree finalists, and at the top is Yoko Ono

The esteemed Pratt Institute – located in Brooklyn, New York, and a second home to some wonderful regional talent from the Middle East, too –  is marking a milestone with its 125th commencement ceremony on May 16. And in light of this event, the education facility has finalised this year's honorary degrees.

They are going to Yoko Ono for her multimedia art, designer Karim Rashid, Brooklyn Museum director Arnold Lehman and The New York Times architectural critic and author, Michael Kimmelman. The latter is also delivering the commencement address that day...
