Norwegian duo Ylvis' novelty track is to be made into a children's book.

Due for release in December, the YouTube hit What Does the Fox Say? By Norwegian comedy brother duo Ylvis is set to become an illustrated children's book.

The video to the song was made famous in September this year, and in a week it gained over ten million views (now that exceeds 230 million). It has been the biggest viral Internet hit since Gangnam Style.

According to Jon Anderson, head of children's publishing division of Simon & Schuster, the video transpired to be so "funny, fascinating and unforgettable," that it simply had to translate into a book.

The premise of the song is a list of the sounds that different animals make, before the brothers ask: "What does the fox say?"

How, exactly, the lyrics will be adapted for the book, is still to be confirmed.
