2 years in the making, this 7 minute video encapsulates the passage of time in Dubai and Abu Dhabi – featuring incredible scenes of the development and evolution of the two cities.

A time-lapse film from the UAE, this video by Slovenian Beno Saradzic documents the rapid growth from the UAE region, merging film series to take the viewer on a tour of everything the Emirates has to offer, from Abu Dhabi's Mangroves to Dubai's iconic Burj Khalifa - all of which is set to music by Dubai-based composer, Vladimir Persan.

Receiving high praise and support from the region, the video has been enjoyed by many, including His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The social media sphere has been abuzz with comments and feedback for Saradzic on his creative visual interpretation of a region very much in motion.

Saradzic's film creation came about as a result of the region's economic crash in 2008, leading him seek a new career path at the age of 39. His expertise in architectural visualisation provided him with the skillset needed for time lapse videography, and with his combined understanding of light and composition, graphics and animation, Saradzic created his visual masterpiece.

Having worked for the BBC and the Discovery Channel, Saradzic now works for Abu Dhabi-based Timesand studios, with many up and coming projects in the pipeline.
