The Glamour of Italian Fashion
A new exhibition at the Victoria & Albert Museum in April 2014
The extraordinary glamour and craftsmanship of Italian fashion from 1945 to 2014 – and in turn how the fashion industry helped to transform the fortune and image of a country devastated by the second world war – are to be the focus of 'The Glamour of Italian Fashion', a new exhibition at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London next April.

It's the first of three fashion exhibitions the V&A will stage throughout the year, as it positions itself as "the home of fashion". The museum will then stage a July exhibition of the history of wedding dresses, followed by a retrospective of the work of the fashion photographer Horst.
