Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi commends Sheikh Hamdan on promoting education in Scotland
Giving inspiration to Emirati students abroad
During the graduation ceremony of the last batch of female students from the multiculturalism and leadership programme, in the Scottish city of Dundee, Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid Al Qasimi, the minister of international cooperation and development and president of Zayed University, applauded Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, deputy ruler of Dubai and U.A.E. minister of finance, on his continued efforts in bettering education.
Sheikha Lubna particularly commended Sheikh Hamdan for equipping future generations of Emirati girls about multiculturalism and leadership, through a programme which the college has now been running for ten years.
"I am proud to be a part of this educational effort that is a product of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum's ideas and generosity in finding a college that is a beacon of civility, education and human connections." stated Sheikha Lubna, while also praising the programme for giving the students a chance to leave their family and home to travel and gather life and professional experiences.
