Prince William lovingly welcomes his brother to the ‘sleep deprivation society’

Well, that's one way to look at it
Prince William showed off his tongue-in-cheek humour at the arrival of Baby Sussex into Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's lives...

It’s barely been 48 hours since Baby Sussex came into the world and erm, the world is still going nuts. As expected. And as Prince Harry said yesterday, “both mother and child are doing incredibly well” and we are due to see baby boy Sussex today – complete with an official name granted to him. Provisionally, we’re going with Arthur. Anyone else?

Well, before all that, the immediate royal family members have gotten their time with the Sussex’s, including aunt and uncle Cambridge.

Upon the news that baby boy Sussex had arrived, Prince William and Kate Middleton took to some press talk afterwards and said this of their new nephew: “Obviously thrilled, absolutely thrilled, and obviously looking forward to seeing them in the next few days when things have quietened down. I’m very pleased and glad to welcome my own brother into the sleep deprivation society that is parenting.”

Nice to know he has his brother’s back. LOL.

Adding to his comments, he was asked if he had any advice to impart. “Plenty of advice, plenty of advice, but no, I wish him all the best and I hope the next few days they can settle down and enjoy having a newborn in their family and the joys that come with that.”

With him too was Kate Middleton who said, “We’re looking forward to finding out what his name is going to be. It’s really exciting for both of them. These next few weeks are always a bit daunting the first time round so we wish them all the best.”

You and us both, sister. We can’t wait to see baby boy Sussex any minute now!

Before that, ICYMI: The Met Gala 2019 also happened. Check out the best dressed here.
