The 'Prada Journal' literary competition returns
Not content with mastering the world of design, Prada is on the look out for creative talent in the literary sense. Launched last year by the label and the Italian publishing house Feltrinelli, the Prada Journal competiton is a writing contest that provides a platform for new literary minds, and invites international authors to give their insight on the world view via a short story.
This year marks the second edition of the contest, and the fashion brand is asking each candidate to explore the theme:
"What are the signs of a changing world? And what will the future look like?"
Candidates are asked to write a text between 10 and 20 pages long in their mother tongue, and every entry will be read by a panel of judges from the publishing world, with just five selected to win a prize.
The lucky winners will see their stories published in both English and their native language on the digital version of concept, which can be found on the brand's website.
