With 2017 coming to a close (so very soon!), there's no better time to reflect on the year that has been. Netflix Middle East has just revealed which shows were most popular in the UAE...

It's official: we love to binge-watch TV. Netflix has just released statistics on the viewing habits of UAE residents over the past year and the shows that captured our attention above all others.

Stranger Things topped the list of shows most watched by groups with 13 Reasons Why, Fuller House and Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life also making the list. As for the shows we went ahead on without our partners (#sorrynotsorry)? Narcos, Orange is the New Black and Black Mirror made the list, and shows such as The Mist, American Vandal and 3% were some of the ones we watched for more than two hours per day.

The study also revealed that we all had the same plans across the Eid al-Adha weekend, with the highest streaming number falling on September 2. With the holiday season just around the corner, we expect that number may just get a run for its money.

Now, discover the TV shows nominated for the 2018 Golden Globes.
