The Met's Costume Institute to spotlight Jacqueline de Ribes for new exhibition

French fashion in the Big Apple

Next fall, Countess Jacqueline de Ribes will be the subject of a new showcase at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s (Met) Costume Institute

From being an aristocrat, socialite, muse, fashion designer and a longtime International Best Dressed List star since 1962, Jacqueline de Ribes will be taking over the Met's Costume Institute next year. The beautiful Parisian has been busy discussing the details with the museum's Harold Koda, and what the exhibition will entail.

As a former muse to Valentino, Yves Saint Laurent and Guy Laroche, de Ribes was never short of designer labels and couture designs, some of which will be going on display from November 3 through January 31, 2015.
