Chelsea College of Art returns to Dubai for 11th edition of design courses
Calling all budding interior designers!
Building on ten years of popularity, Chelsea College of Art (CCA) will return to Dubai in February 2015 to host the ‘Interior Design and Decoration Short Courses’ – a portfolio of top quality design courses delivered by practicing industry professionals from London.
There are a total of four interior design courses, three of which explore the principles of interior design, and a stand alone session titled ‘colour for interiors’ for the exploration of the perfect palette. Adding to the pre-existing course that examines the process of curating contemporary art, is the brand new addition of the ‘contemporary art explored’ module.
The courses are designed for aspiring and practicing interior designers alike. Designers who are looking to develop specialist skills, and beginners wishing to pursue their passion for interiors are all invited to enrol. Each course offers a tremendous opportunity to expand on skills in guided, practical classes. Some of the methods that will be used in teaching these courses include gallery tours, group discussion, exhibition curation, classroom based lectures and presentations.
CCA is a part of the University of the Arts London, Europe’s largest specialist arts and design university. This includes a number of renowned alumni including Alexander McQueen, Anish Kapoor and Florence Welch.
The two week teaching event will be held at Vida Hotel from January 31 – February 16
