Italian artist Blu creates mural on old Roman military complex

The Italian artist, painted nearly 50 windows to create the eyes and mouths of 27 unique faces spanning three stories, wrapping the Porto Fluviale – which is now a residential site.
The bright rainbow range of characters were etched onto the existing framework, covering the original architectural elements. Grabbing the attention of passers-by, Blu's illustrations brings a lively atmosphere to the street and once bland building, giving a new energy to the Roman neighbourhood with his surprise piece of public art.
