Al Ain set to open a 25,000-seater sports stadium
Expected to officially open next month
The Hazza bin Zayed stadium in Al Ain city is expected to open next month. The stadium will seat over 25,000 spectators and will be the first of its kind to offer shading to every single one of those visitors. A statement said the new Hazza bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain city has been constructed in a record time of 17 months.
The stadium will become the regions most sophisticated sports venue, spanning three-tiers and 45,000 square metres. Not only will the building be linked to a cluster of retail, dining and entertainment outlets, there will also be a luxury hotel. Mohamed Mubarak Al Mazroui, chairman of Al Ain Club Investment Company commented "The stadium will become a pioneering sports destination and a distinguished architectural marvel, forming a vital part of an integrated and a huge mixed use development with facilities serving the sports, social and tourism sectors of Al Ain City and the UAE in general."
