Buro 24/7 Middle East contributor Maha Sulaiman presents five of her top new tunes

This weekend our special playlist is a combination of mellow tunes with a few surprising upbeat bass additions, creating the complex combination of relaxation and motivation at once. With all the incredible events happening in the region next week, its the perfect playlist to help you mentally prepare...

First up is Helvetic Nerds member Cedric Zeyenne exploring his deeper side of producing music. He delivers a forward-thinking deep house track – Feel You is made up of soulful vocals, guitar licks, a pumping electronic beat pattern and an elegant organ bass line.

Two of London’s finest have teamed up for an exiting  house number that’s features a beautiful vocal performance from Will Heard. I Can't Keep Up tells the story of a lonely person who just wants to find their significant other, with the deep lyrics backed by a thumping bassline from Tourist.

Kygo puts out yet another killer remix of a track that was just recently released, Seinabo Sey's Younger. The original track has soulful vocals and a soothing percussion with an interesting use of string instruments and piano. Kygo's remix has added another dimension of uplifting sound to the emotion heard in the track. The overlapping deep vocals and Kygo's signature tropical melodies and bouncy beat makes you want to sway the night away.

It's collaboration nation coming from Swedish indie pop/rock singer, songwriter and musician Tove Lo and DJ Oliver Nelson. Both hailing from Stockholm, the duo have created an uplifting track with this electro pop infusion over Tove’s indie pop vocals.

This following song, produced by Machinedrum, is included on Boykins’ debut LP Love Apparatus out now and features a guest verse from Theophilus London.
