The Warner Brothers Music Group are facing a major lawsuit as 3,000 former interns file legal complaints

  • The furore started last year when ex-intern Kyle Grant filed a lawsuit, which alleged that Warner routinely abused interns by making them carry out menial tasks such as getting coffee and lunch for paid employees. The case argues that the work conducted by the interns amounts to no music industry experience or educational value at all - which is a requirement for unpaid internships.

  • Should the case be successful, Warner may have to pay out millions to the ex-interns and radically change it's intern employment policy.
