Lana Del Rey reveals potential release date for her new album
'Ultraviolence'
In a recent video that surfaced this week in which the singer met with fans, Lana Del Rey is heard commenting on the date of her new album saying, "it's coming out soon - May 1st."
After the singer found out she was being recorded by fans she backtracked slightly, adding that she wasn't entirely sure of the date as her record label has yet to confirm the official release date of the singer's third studio LP, Ultraviolence.
In the video Del Rey also says that the material of the new album is very different to her last records, 2012's 'Born to Die' and 'Paradise' commenting, "It's so good that it made me forget about the last record. I'm in love with it. I have that romantic feeling about it." also adding that Ultraviolence is "so dark it's almost unlistenable."
In addition to working on her new album, Del Rey also released her own dark version of the song 'Once Upon A Dream' for Disney's new film, Maleficent, starring Angelina Jolie and Amanda Seyfried. Listen below now:
