Will Katy Perry write Hillary Clinton a presidential campaign song?
An easy choice for the 'Dark Horse' singer
The singer proposed the idea through her Instagram account, including a photo of her holding Clinton's book 'Hard Choices' beside the author herself, with the caption: "I told @hillaryclinton I that I would write her a 'theme' song if she needs it..."
As a result she received 342,000 likes on Instagram and 8000 'favourited' on Twitter, as well as a twitter response from the governmental figure who recognised the singer's 2013 hit, "@katyperry Well that's not a Hard Choice. You already did! Keep letting us hear you Roar."
If Hillary decides to take up Perry's offer, she won't be the first Clinton to feature a pop song as their promotional theme. Her Husband, Bill Clinton, used a Fleetwood Mac song in 1992. However, the female politician has yet to announce any plans to run for president in the near future.
