Drake's album has a release date, Kanye West drops Donda and other music news of the week
Finally! We've been waiting for Drake to drop some new music and after months of rumors and delays, the artist announced that his long-awaited sixth full-lenth album will be out on Friday, September 3.
Titled 'Certified Lover Boy', the news of the album was shared via Instagram, alongside the unveiling of the album’s official artwork, done up by British contemporary artist Damien Hirst, featuring 12 pregnant women emojis (take it away, Internet!).
Kanye West's much-delayed Donda album was officially released (finally!), however, without the artist's approval. West made the allegation after the album was released on streaming services stating that, "Universal [Studios] put my album out without my approval and they blocked Jail 2 from being on the album," he wrote. The song, Jail 2, features DaBaby and Marilyn Manson – both causing controversy at the moment.
You can listen to the album on Spotify.
US rapper Lil Uzi Vert was recently spotted at a Palestinian wedding that took place in New Jersey and we have SO many questions. Whilst we're uncertain as to how or even why the artist was in attendance, it was certainly a feast for the eyes. Fans — including us – could not get enough of the 'Xo Tour Llif3' hitmaker's dance moves as he attempted to do the dabke, while wearing a keffiyeh around his neck.

Justin Bieber has officially made Spotify history by breaking the streaming platform's all-time monthly listener record – with a whopping 83.3 million monthly listeners. Chart Data revealed that the artist received the most amount of followers anyone has earnd since Spotify's conception.
The Weeknd came close behind with 74.53 million monthly listeners and Ed Sheeran, who has 72.41 million monthly listeners. Dua Lipa tops the leading female list with 65.6 million monthly listeners.
One of the it songs this summer was Butter by BTS, spending nine weeks on top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. And whilst we thought nothing would make the hit tune better than it already is, Megan Thee Stallion appeared on the remixed track offering her firey rhymes and achingly cool bars.
This marks the first time BTS and Megan Thee Stallion have worked together. You can stream the remix here.
