The virtual band to release a new album for 2016

While prepping for the next leg of his Australian tour in support of his recent solo album 'Everyday Robots', Damon Albarn offered the 'Sydney Morning Herald' some exciting news about what he's planning for the future – and it doesn't involve robots

In a recent interview with Australian newspaper, The Sydney Morning Herald, Gorillaz frontman David Albarn teased his fans with hope of a new album, stating that he's now "in the process of reactivating Gorillaz for a 2016 release." The upcoming album would be the groups fifth overall and follow up to 2011's The Fall

Albarn also added that another album from his other band, The Good, The Bad, & The Queen, is already written and is now waiting to be recorded in the studio.
