English record producer and musician Damon Albarn to release highly anticipated solo album, 'Everyday Robots'

The talented Damon Albarn's latest musical venture is due for release on April 28. The album is co-produced by XL Recordings boss Richard Russell, who has worked with Albarn before on American soul-singer Bobby Womack's album The Bravest Man in the Universe.

Albarn – who is also the vocalist and songwriter of virtual band Gorillaz, showed his excitement about  XL's involvement saying, "Richard does the rhythmic side and I do everything else. Making a solo record can be such a disaster, so I thought if we're going to make a record with my name on it, I should get someone to really produce it; take that responsibility away from myself."

The album also includes guests features by Natasha Khan (Bat For Lashes) and Brian Eno.
