Coachella’s full line-up is revealed and with three headliners, there are no women

Mark your calendars
Right on cue, Coachella has revealed the acts for this year's festival and whilst it looks promising, fans weren't immediately happy...

Mark your dates! Coachella has released the official line-up for its 2020 festival, confirming a slew of acts that includes headliners Rage Against the Machine, Travis Scott and Frank Ocean. And whilst we all know that the Californian festival is the place to be to stage an iconic performance (think Beyoncé’s Homecoming or even Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg’s TuPac hologram), there’s plenty to look forward too.

Apart from the three must-see headliners, other high-profile performers set to take the stage over the two weekends include Calvin Harris, Run the Jewel, Lana Del Ray, Megan Thee Stallion and Disclosure.

Take a look at the full line-up here…

Whilst the line-up is great, where are all the women though? Fans were quick to notice that there were hardly any female performers on the flyer. After Queen Bey, Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga, the festival will not have any women headlining for the first time since 2016. Lana Del Rey (who was just in Abu Dhabi for the 2019 Grand Prix), happens to be listed in a runner-up slot on the 2020 poster, but still, is not a headliner.

However fear not, we’ll be getting our dose of the female force whilst looking at the celebrity guest attendees — you know, the ones that make our ‘who wore what’ feeds explode on Instagram. Regulars include Emily Ratajkowski, Romee Strijid, Alessandra Ambrosio, Vanessa Hudgens, Shanina Shaik, the Gerbers, the Jenners and the Hadids.

Now, with the line-up announced, here’s what you need to know about Coachella 2020:

– Coachella will take place on April 10-12 and April 17-19
– Whilst the first weekend is already sold out, you can still get your hands on tickets for weekend two on the official Coachella website.
– The festival will be located at Indio, California in the desert, just beyond Palm Springs.
