Forbes announces Calvin Harris as the world's highest paid DJ
The Scottish musician cashes in
Last year, the Scottish producer topped the list with $46 million in earnings, however this year's gigs, from Coachella to his Las Vegas residency propelled him even higher, to $66 million, making him highest paid DJ in the world.
"The rise of dance music has been astronomical in the last three years," Harris said. "I happened to be in the right place at the right time."
Following behind Harris is David Guetta who took the number two spot with $30 million, while Avicii, and Tiësto both came in at third place with $28 million.
