Listen now: Buro 24/7 Middle East's Weekend playlist

September 4–6

Buro 24/7 Middle East's editors pick eight new tunes from today's freshest music to get you ready for the weekend...

As September starts and the Summer season comes to an end, Buro 24/7 Middle East has compiled the perfect playlist of eight songs that will get you prepared for the month, and weekend ahead. From Yeezy's up-tempo beats to Sam Smith's soothing voice, there's a track for everyone to sing-a-long to....

Now, kicking off our first September playlist is the smooth sounds of Byron Bay-based electronic/chillwave band, Tora with their song Unobtainable. Then, keeping the acoustic base alive, Carlos Serrano adds his touch to a Sam Smith rework of Disclosure's infectious hit Latch.

Following at number three – after the Made In America festival it seemed only right we include a song by Kanye West... so, we went back to the addictive track New Slaves from his Yeezus album. This is then followed by another artist who made headlines this week with his new collaboration with Karl Lagerfeld, Theophilus London, – as we play his newest dance-tune, Tribes featuring Jesse Boykins III. After seven minutes of pure high-tempo adrenalin, Australian song-bird George Maple slows down the playlist with her new single Talk Talk.

US-based JMR swoops in at number six with his electronic-based, ethereal track Doesn't Feel Human, while – newcomer on the Buro music playlist – Jamal Rashid aka Mally Mall debuts his new song Watcha Say featuring Drake, Tyga & The K.i.d Heat, and between the house infused backbeat and catchy RnB hook, this song is set to be on repeat.

Bringing our playlist to a relaxing end, is a Stwo remix of Seattle-born musician Sango's track Middle of things, Beautiful Wife, which features soulful vocals from SPZRKT (pronounced Spazzy Rocket).
