Listen now: Buro 24/7 Middle East Weekend Playlist 33

FKA Twigs, Frank Ocean and more...

Buro 24/7 Middle East presents its latest weekend playlist, fusing the unpredictable beats of FKA Twigs and the acoustic rhythms of new British band Tenterhook, all for your weekend listening...

This Friday we start our first weekend playlist of 2015 off with Hertfordshire-born singer/songwriter Rhodes and his track Your Soul, a piano-clad ballad that features an echoing chorus.

Buro 24/7 Middle East favourite, FKA Twigs, then takes the number two spot with the first single off her album LP1 titled 2 weeks. Glasgow-based duo Bud then bring some indie-pop vibes with their single Honeyblood, while Nick Mulvey – an English musician who studied music in Havana, Cuba – single, Meet Me There, is then our fourth song on the playlist. Bringing up the tempo a few notches, Jungle then hits us with their addictively good and soulful song Busy Earnin'.

This is followed by Rosie Lowe's Right Thing and Indiana's Heart On Fire, which both keep the mellow mood flowing. Newcomers Tenterhook slowly start to bring our playlist to an end with their beautifully acousitic track Chemicals, followed by the lyrical track Angst by Dutch musician Mike Spring and Cyra Morgan. The sweet and smooth words from Frank Ocean in his feel-good song Golden Girl then close off our musical picks for this weekend.
