Billboard reveals the Top 40 money makers of 2014
Music's rich list
Each year, Billboard's list is calculated by taking into account the musician's earnings in the U.S, including touring, recorded music sales, publishing royalties and video streaming revenue.
This year, America's country singers have topped the famous Billboard chart, with Taylor Swift taking the number one spot followed by Kenny Chesney and Luke Bryan — who are both in the top 10 with Swift. Plenty of hip-hop and pop artists also feature, including Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake and The Rolling Stones.
