It seems that Cara Delevingne has been taken under the wing of 80s pop sensation Sinitta as she prepares to launch her own music career

Despite the fact that the massively in demand model and sometimes actress has yet to confirm her plans, the rumour mill has gone into overdrive this week regarding Cara Delevingne's (somewhat surprising) current dealings with Simon Cowell and Sinitta.

Reports that the model has been signed by Simon Cowell's SyCo label started when she was pictured leaving his London office earlier this year, before Sinitta, who often guides young talent alongside Cowell for British and American shows The X Factor, revealed that she was working with the model and actress, too.

"It's a top-secret project and it's true that I'm helping her as a mentor," Sinitta told the Evening Standard newspaper in London, before advice from representatives lead her to clam up on the subject: "I'm sorry, I just can't answer that."

"It's about finding people who have natural passion," she further explained, "and doing what Simon did with me: help them focus their creativity and ideas in a positive direction and give them an outlet."
