William Shatner has taken to Twitter to answer fan questions about his friend and co-star Leonard Nimoy, who passed away on Friday last week. The two shared the screen in the iconic 1960’s sci-fi series Star Trek.
Shatner was on the wrong end of a quick-to-pounce media backlash after not being able to attend Nimoy’s funeral in LA due to a commitment in Florida, The New York Daily News, ran a particularly incendiary headline, running with ‘Captain Jerk’.
Shatner has opened to fans of Nimoy on Twitter, welcoming questions about the late star and sharing his experience of friendship with the man we all know as ‘Spock.’
