Coppélia ballet performance
Performed by the Russian State Ballet and Orchestra of Sibera, Coppélia tells the story of a Franz, a young man who falls in love with a life-sized doll, not knowing that it is a mere creation by an inventor. Though promised to another woman, the infatuation with the doll named Coppélia consumes him and he makes every effort to sneak into the workshop to be with it.

Poetry in Wood art exhibition
Dubai art space Green Art Gallery is set to host a multi-discipline exhibition by Lebanese artist Chaouki Choukini. Titled Poetry in Wood, the new show puts the spotlight on sculptures that showcase the lyrical beauty found in wood. Focusing on positive and negative space, tones and textures, the artist draws inspiration from Japanese minimalism while creating masterpieces that reflect memories of his own childhood.
Poetry in Wood will run from September 18 until October 30 at Green Art Gallery.
Sushi masterclass at Okku
It's time to create your own signature sushi roll at Okku, one of Dubai's premier Japanese restaurants.
