The Hollywood Reporter celebrates the 35 most powerful people in media
Anna Wintour, Ariana Huffington, Hilary Swank and many more
Media's leading headline makers and power players flocked to the Four Season's Restaurant's Grill Room in midtown Manhattan to celebrate the second annual Hollywood Reporter hosted event that honours the 35 most powerful people in media.
An industry that is usually jostling with competitive ratings and oneupmanship, the evening took an agreeably friendly and lively tone, seeing the likes of media heavyweights like Barbara Walters and Fox News chief Roger Ailes, settle down with the sumptuous hors d'oeuvres which included quails eggs and caviar, for a long catch up, as two of the party's early birds.
As the evening got into full swing, more media titans arrived including Anna Wintour, Martha Stewart, Arianna Huffington with a host of her esteemed Huffington Post team in tow, MSNBC's Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, ABC's George Stephanopoulos, The New York Times' David Carr and Brian Stelter and talk show host Wendy Williams.
