One of the most anticipated fashion films has opened one of the year's most important cinematic festivals. Buro 24/7 Middle East has the details...

The 2016 Tribeca Film Festival opened on April 13 with the world premiere of The First Monday in May. Directed by Andrew Rossi, the film is an inside look at the detailed events that preceded last year's Met Gala, providing an insight into the inner workings of one of art and fashion's biggest nights.

Anticipation for the film has been on the rise since the trailer was released in February, which was followed by a sneak peek in Dubai on March 23. Now, at the world premiere, Anna Wintour as well as a host of other celebrities from both the fashion and film worlds, including Karolina Kurkova, Zac Posen, Chloe Grace Moretz and Jane Fonda were in attendance.
