Ahead of the upcoming reboot of The Hills, Whitney Port has revealed that one of the show's most iconic scenes was faked...

OK, we feel the need to start this story by saying that we are (now...) fully aware that The Hills was staged. We still love it regardless. However, one of the show's leading ladies, Whitney Port, has revealed that one of its most iconic scenes was totally fake and honestly we're not OK.

Cast your minds back to 2006, when the biggest drama was the fact that Lauren Conrad turned down an internship in Paris to stay behind and hang out with boyfriend Jason Wahler, forever rendering her as "The Girl Who Didn't Go To Paris." Her BFF Whit accepted the role in her place, with the first season ending with a shot of Port at the airport with then Teen Vogue editor Lisa Love. EXCEPT THEY DIDN'T GO.

Nope, they just turned right back around. In a recent interview, Port explained, "That was so ridiculous. It wasn't an ideal situation but I thought, okay, this is good for me because I really was pursuing a career in fashion. I thought it showed that I was down and determined to do this. It was very Anne Hathaway as Andy Sachs. I got dressed up in an airport look and went for it."

So no-one went to Paris. If anyone needs us, we'll just be here, processing this...

In the meantime, catch the first full trailer of the final season of Game of Thrones.
