Sienna Miller to replace Emma Stone in Cabaret
Factory girl heads to Broadway
33-year-old Miller, who has enjoyed somewhat of a "comeback" of late, has been announced as Emma Stone's replacement for the Tony award-winning Broadway production of Cabaret. The actress will takeover the lead role in February, and appear in the show until its close on March 29.
Made famous by Liza Minelli in the multiple Oscar winning 1972 film, Miller will play the lead role of Sally Bowles. Before Emma Stone took over the role, Michelle Williams performed in the show, which started its current run last April.
The Sam Mendes-directed Cabaret is actually currently being staged at New York's Studio 54, the much-loved home-away-from-home of one of Miller's most celebrated roles – factory girl Edie Sedgwick.
