Scarlett Johansson and Lupita Nyong'o to star in 'The Jungle Book' remake?
Reliving the classics
It seems that Disney is keeping the classics alive, with many updated versions of the original animations in the pipeline. The feature film at the forefront is The Jungle Book, which reportedly will be directed by American actor, director and screenwriter, Jon Favreau. And there are talks that Scarlett Johansson and Lupita Nyong'o will be starring in the film, which is set to be a live action/ CGI hybrid – a modern take on the jungle classic.
It is still unclear how close a resemblance this adaptation will have to the original story by Rudyard Kipling, and there are also reports that Warner Brothers will also be releasing its own version of The Jungle Book.
