Salvatore Ferragamo goes silver screen with Inferno
Italian location, Italian couture
Italian luxury fashion house Salvatore Ferragamo has made another appearance on the big screen, this time in the movie Inferno. Directed by Oscar winner Ron Howard, the film is fittingly shot in the maison's home of Florence and is the third instalment of Dan Brown's trilogy of literary cult classics. The new movie sees Tom Hanks reprise his popular role as Professor Robert Langdon who this time, is accompanied by Felicity Jones.
This is not the first collaboration between Howard and the maison, with the two partnering for the director's 2012 movie Rush. This time, Salvatore Ferragamo dressed the two lead actors, creating a custom charcoal grey suit and blue shirt for Hanks. This was matched with Tramezza lace-up shoes and a nude-coloured blouse with grey pants for Jones, complemented by Vara platform shoes and an indigo trench.
