The rebellion is about to begin and it starts here first at Dubai's very own global film fest.

It's confirmed! The Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) will close its 13th edition at Madinat Jumeirah with one of the most highly anticipated movies of the year, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. This will also mark the Middle East premiere of the film which will hit UAE theatres on December 15. The new sci-fi film in the Star Wars franchise, starring Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen and Forest Whitaker, is set long before last year's epic Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which incidentally not only was partly shot in Abu Dhabi but also made its regional debut in the capital.
