Mick Jagger's son to star in Martin Scorsese's new series
James Jagger to feature in HBO drama
The newly announced project is currently unnamed, but will focus on the music scene of the 1970s, exploring the development of punk and disco through the eyes of a fictional recording company executive Richie, played by Bobby Cannavale – who also starred in the Scorsese-produced Boardwalk Empire.
Mick Jagger's son will take the role of a singer in a fictional punk band called 'Nasty Bits'. James Jagger has previously starred in the Ian Dury biopic as well as Howard Marks biopic Mr Nice. The young aspiring actor attended the same drama school as Robert Pattinson, Olivia Wilde is also said to star in the new series.
