Watch now: Jonny Depp, Gwyneth Paltrow and Ewan McGregor star in 'Mortdecai'
Charles Mortdecai is an aristocratic art dealer, something of "a moron" some would say, always followed on his adventure by his man servant, Jock.
In an upcoming movie for 2015 he will go after a stolen painting that's supposed to be linked to a long lost bank account filled with Nazi gold, all played to perfection by the multi-talented Johnny Depp.
Directed by David Koepp and based on the series of comic thrillers by Kyril Bonfiglioli, Mortdecai also stars Gwyneth Paltrow, Ewan McGregor, Aubrey Plaza, Paul Bettany (as Jock), Olivia Munn, Jeff Goldblum and Oliver Platt. Kyril Bonfiglioli, the creator of Charles Mortdecai and himself an art dealer at one point, wrote three books about the character in the 70s. This film seems to follow the first in the series, Don't Point that Thing at Me (1972).
