A James Franco documentary is in the works
With a first-time, female director
Currently in early editing stages, a documentary following a year in the professional and personal life of Oscar-nominated actor James Franco is nearing completion – by first time director Lisa Vangellow.
Franco: A Documentary started filming in June 2013, and will focus on Franco's sometimes controversial behaviour in academia and the art world, as well as touch on his film career and Broadway debut.
Vangellow, who also produced the documentary, had access to Franco's family and close friends. Seth Rogen and Klaus Biesenbach, curator of New York's Museum of Modern Art, are just two of the names expected to appear in the film, however going by Franco's famous friendship group, we are sure there will be more.
