Felicity Jones is having a fantastic year already, with an Oscar nomination already under her belt, the British actress has now been cast as the female lead in the new stand-alone 'Star Wars' film...

As excitement for the release of the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens film is mounting, news of two more Star Wars stand-alone films (that are not part of the original series) is filtering into the buzz. 

  1. The latest morsel of information, to feed the appetites of avid fans, is the news that Felicity Jones, the Oscar nominated star of The Theory Of Everything, has been cast the female lead in the off-shoot Star Wars project. 

  2. The project remains shrouded in mystery, although we do know that the writer and director have been revealed – Chris Weitz and Gareth Edwards respectively – and actors Aaron Paul and Edgar Ramirez are said to be in the running for the male lead.

Jones' career is on an unstoppable trajectory, no longer a rising star, she is just a star.
